There are different types of lasers that treat a variety of skin types and tones. We use a special Gentle YAG laser to safely and effectively treat darker skin tones, while an advanced Alexandrite laser is used to treat lighter skin tones. Our lasers also release a short burst of cryogen (a liquid gas that helps cool the skin) milliseconds before each laser pulse.

Those with higher sensitivity to pain can request a numbing cream prior to their appointment to help minimize pain. Some clients also prefer to take Ibuprofen beforehand as a preventative measure.

While some clients can see amazing results after just one treatment, it takes a series of treatments for fewer and fewer hairs to return. While the number of treatments depends on the individual’s response to laser hair removal and the amount of hair to be removed, the process typically requires nine total treatments for permanent hair reduction based on the hair’s natural growth cycle. Consistency plus time equals results!
