Get that youthful bounce back.

Ultherapy® is an innovative treatment that uses ultrasound to work with your body’s own natural healing process to lift, tone, and tighten areas like the upper eye, under the chin and neck, and even the upper chest. Ultherapy treatment is one of our favorite anti-aging secrets (not to mention, the industry’s gold standard for a natural-looking transformation) — and ideal for people who just want real results. Like us.

Unlike lasers, which penetrate the skin from the outside-in, the Ultherapy® procedure bypasses the surface of the skin and delivers targeted energy specifically into the deep, structural tissues where collagen lives. By stimulating the deep structural support layers of the skin, a natural, regenerative response is initiated, stimulating the growth of new collagen, which lifts and tightens the skin over time. Because ultrasound technology actually works non-invasively from the inside-out, results build gradually over 2-3 months and can continue to improve up to six months after the procedure. The result? Tighter, younger-looking skin, even on the neck.

What to Expect

The first step is your free consultation.

During your in-depth consultation, a Ultherapy treatment provider will give you a skin evaluation (whether it’s your face or neck) to determine if Ultherapy® is right for you.

Before Treatment

While there are no huge lifestyle changes needed, there will be some prep done right before your treatment.

You’ll need to gently wash the treatment area with a mild cleanser.

During Treatment

Depending on your Ultherapy treatment area or package, sessions can be completed in as little as 20 minutes.

Temporary discomfort may be expected, and we will do our best to make you as comfortable as possible.

Your skin may turn red during and just after the treatment. This usually goes away within an hour.

After Treatment

There’s no downtime, so you can go right back to your day.

We’ll ask you to use sunscreen on the treated area to protect it from sun damage.

Occasional bruising or swelling may occur.

Ultherapy®
Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ultherapy®

  • Ultherapy is an FDA cleared device that treats maturing skin on the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the décolletage (upper chest) using micro-focused ultrasound to stimulate collagen and elastin production without downtime.

How does Ultherapy® work?

  • Ultherapy® works by harnessing micro-focused ultrasound to stimulate the layers within the skin while keeping the skin's surface intact. This generates a thermal effect that jumps-starts the body's natural ability to create new collagen and elastin — which in turn, visibly lifts, firms, and tones treated areas.

How soon can results be seen after Ultherapy®?

  • Gradual lifting, tightening, and toning develops after treatment over the next 2-3 months after treatment, with full results seen at 6 months.

How long do Ultherapy® results last?

  • Since Ultherapy® works with the body’s own collagen and elastin-building processes, regular touch-ups can help to maintain or even improve results.

Results typically appear in the 2-3 months following treatment, and though we all continue to age, that process now begins from a newer, younger-looking starting point.

How many times should someone get Ultherapy® for best results?

  • Most clients only need one treatment per area; however, some may benefit from more than one depending on how much skin laxity they have in addition to their body’s natural, biological response to the ultrasound and the collagen-building process. Follow-up treatments each year may help maintain results.

What areas can be treated with Ultherapy®?

  • Ultherapy® is FDA-cleared to treat maturing skin on the face, neck, and upper chest targeting the:
    - Brow
    - Eye (Crow’s Feet & Under Eye)
    - Cheeks
    - Peri-Oral (Lipstick Lines)
    - Submentum (Under Chin, Double Chin)
    - Lower Neck
    - Upper Chest (Décolletage)

What is the Collagen Booster treatment?

  • The Collagen Booster is an Ultherapy® treatment that targets the Brow, Eye, Cheek, Peri-Oral, and Submentum areas using the 1.5mm transducer. It targets the part of the dermis most rich in fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen and elastin. This can be repeated every 3 months and makes for an effective touch-up treatment for clients who want to maintain or improve upon their results.

What does Ultherapy® feel like?

  • As the ultrasound is delivered, tiny amounts of energy are being deposited to precise depths to stimulate the collagen-building process — which many clients describe as tolerable, warm vibrations that could get spicy. Comfort levels vary from person to person, but the sensation only lasts while the ultrasound energy is being delivered: there’s no downtime, and clients can return to their day immediately after treatment. Cooling fans and vibration devices are incorporated into every treatment to further ensure clients feel as comfortable as possible.

What are the side effects of Ultherapy®?

  • Slight redness for up to an hour or so is normal immediately following the treatment. Some may experience swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

How long does Ultherapy® take?

  • Ultherapy® appointments can be completed in under 1 hour. In fact, many of our clients will book their treatment during their lunch break!

What is the downtime after Ultherapy®?

  • There’s no downtime: most clients can get Ultherapy® during their lunch break and get back to the rest of their day.

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy®?

  • A good candidate for Ultherapy® is someone in their 30s and up with mild to moderate laxity, which is when skin can look (and often feels) less firm. (Loose skin under the neck and under the chin, or lines and wrinkles around the mouth and on the face and chest, are signs that they might be a candidate.) This is a great treatment for those who want some natural-looking facial lifting but aren’t yet ready for surgery; younger clients who are interested in staying ahead of the game; as well as those who want to further enhance their aesthetic maintenance routine.

Do note that Ultherapy® is a non-invasive treatment and not a replacement for, nor is it equivalent to, a surgical facelift. Ultherapy® is not intended to produce the same results as an invasive procedure, and those with excessive skin laxity are not optimal candidates.
